Questions
Straight answers about the rail.
If a question is about a specific page, the Lynnfield office can take it. Leave the recovery phrase out of the message.
What is Aurora Root?
A hardware wallet from Goingclear, Inc. It is a physical rail that holds private keys for cryptocurrency on a chip, and shows each request on its own horizontal line.
Where does the private key live?
On the chip inside the rail. The computer that prepares a request does not keep a copy. See the essay on the chip.
What do the dial and the square key do?
The silver dial confirms what the line is showing. The square key steps through the line or clears it. The PIN is entered with those same two controls.
Does the rail use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth?
No. There is no radio. A session with a computer uses the USB-C cable. A sealed cell can keep the line lit for a reading after the cable leaves, and that cell does not join a network.
What is the phrase for?
It is a 21-word recovery phrase, shown once on the device so you can write it on paper. The paper restores the keys if the rail is lost. The company does not want the words sent to it. The essay on the paper covers that.
What is the bench list?
A list of names and emails. With a place on it you receive a number, a single sheet about the rail before the bench is called, and a note on the morning it is called. The form is at the bottom of the home page.
Who publishes the site?
Goingclear, Inc., 220 Broadway, Unit 104, Lynnfield, MA 01940. Phone +1 (781) 486-5911. The about page has the same details.
